Two vacant buildings on Broad Street will be converted into a boutique hotel and restaurant complex.<\/p><p>&#8220;Downtown Statesville has incredible bones,&#8221; said City Manager Rachel Drummond. &#8220;This investment will honor our heritage while creating a destination that draws visitors and new residents alike.&#8221;<\/p><p>Construction on the first phase is expected to begin this fall, with completion targeted for late 2028.
